TENALI RAMAN KEE BUDEEVARDAK KAHANEEYA

तेनाली रमन बहुत छोटे थे तभी उनके पिता चल बसे। उन्हें बचपन में किसी पाठशाला में जाने का अवसर नहीं मिला। वे बहुत नटखट थे और उनकी शरारतों के कारण उनकी मां अक्सर परेशान रहती थी।

फिर एक दिन उन्हें एक ज्ञानी संत मिले। उन्होंने उन्हें एक मंत्र दिया और कहा कि वे रोजाना काली मां की प्रार्थना किया करें। तेनाली रमन पास ही बने काली मंदिर में गए और संत के कहे अनुसार मंत्र का एक लाख बार जाप किया।

मंत्र जाप पूरा होते ही, काली मां ने अपने सिरों के साथ भयंकर रूप में उन्हें दर्शन दिए। काली मां को इस प्रकार अपने सामने देख कर तेनाली घबराने की बजाए जोर-जोर से हंसने लगे। काली मां ने उनसे उनके इस तरह हंसने का कारण पूछा।

वे बोले, “मां! मेरी एक नाक है और जब भी मुझे जुकाम हो जाता है तो मुझे बहुत मुश्किल होती है। लेकिन जब आपको जुकाम होता है तो आप क्या करती हैं? इतने सारे सिर और केवल दो हाथ!”
