You Can’t Please Everyone
Do you feel torn between who you are and who the world is asking you to be? Do you feel guilty for wanting peace, anxious about setting boundaries, and responsible for everyone’s happiness but your own?
In this quietly extraordinary book, Vex King, #1 best-selling author of Good Vibes, Good Life, offers a gentle, empowering guide back to what you already know but may have learned to ignore. Through lived experience and grounded wisdom, Vex offers a clear, practical path out of people-pleasing and back to your center – not by rejecting love, ambition, or responsibility, but by learning how to meet life without abandoning yourself.
This book isn’t about caring less or becoming someone new. It’s about releasing what you were never meant to carry, and remembering who you were before approval became the measure of your worth. At its core, it’s an invitation to return to wholeness and choose from self-trust, rather than from old wounds, conditioning, or fear.
You’ll learn how to:
• Pursue success and happiness without sacrificing your peace or sense of self
• Navigate difficult relationship dynamics with family and friends
• Set boundaries without shutting people out
• Process guilt and anger without becoming overwhelmed
• Protect your spirit without closing your heart
• Rebuild trust in your inner voice
This is a book you can pick up, read and use to begin living differently from today. No fluff. Just a guide to help you come home to yourself, live from your center, and find the peace and freedom that have always been yours.
‘What I’m offering here is my voice. My perspective. My lived experience. My heart laid bare. In the hope that it sparks something real and lasting within you.’
