Great Expectations

Great Expectations is Charles Dickens’s thirteenth novel and his second novel, after David Copperfield, to be fully narrated in the first person. The story traces the growth of Philip Pirrip, called Pip, from a boy of shallow dreams to a man of depth and character. Great Expectations has been filmed many times and is regarded by many as Dickens’ greatest achievement.
