Spirits of the Roaring Sea ventures into re-structuring the systemic narratives. By following through the path breaking journeys of women in a poetic arena, we learn that there is no space for a “different”. We come from the same roots in one way or the other. Through stories of love, insecurities, and movements, we find a space to embrace our passion, desires, and a “truest self.”
Author: Asmita Sen was born in Patiala and has grown up in various states while adapting to different cultures. She hails from Kolkata, West Bengal. She started writing officially for magazines and newsletters when she was thirteen years old. She started journaling when she was twelve years old, and gradually dialed up to blogging. She is a cinema connoisseur and drafts reviews and scripts with a philosophical flair. She has pursued her Master’s in media and communication, and is further looking into pursuing her doctorate.
