Letters To A Fading World
Prashant Sagar is the quiet voice behind Kitabganj. He was raised in the gentle hush of Indian villages and shaped by the restless rhythm of cities. He carries within him a language born of stillness and motion. His Hindi poetry evokes love and longing. and speaks of the fragile ruins of civilizations built within the heart.
Kitabganj began in 2015 and 2016 in the red-brick corridors of Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University. Since then, his brief, aching and timeless poems have reached lakhs of readers across languages and landscapes. His collections titled Fafund and Gupt Prempatra explore the silent ache of human connection, the tenderness of unspoken affection, and the memory of places that quietly hold us. His work has also been translated into Punjabi under the title Uli, bring-ing his verse to new rhythms and readers.
He once wrote that his address remains a flower. hidden from maps but remembered by hearts that understand the language of less. In this English translation, the spirit of his verse is carried forward with care. It invites readers to walk the soft and timeless garden paths of a poet who writes not to be seen but to be felt.
